Hole me familia!!!!!! COMO ESTAS?!?!?!
Haha I'm not even learning Spanish but I thought that'd be a nice way to start off the message.

But hey, how's home? how's the end of school Noelle? you gonna get a summer job? did Melinda and Connor decide where they are going for their honeymoon yet? Is Cam making cash money up the heezy? I love you all and miss you already!

Two days have passed so far. and Oh. My. Goodness. This is ridiculous. When I first arrived here I was told to go here, then there, follow this guy, go get this, write your name here, go this way, and finally follow this dood. It was crazy. I felt like a puppy dog on a leash. And then...they throw you right into the chaotic and super super busy schedule. Work, work, and more work. We met up with our district, which has 3 elder companionships and 3 sister companionships. My companion is Elder Sant, from Spokane Washington. he went to two years at LDSBC and is a very.....well, nerdy guy. He has pretty much read every fantasy/action novel and he has seen tons of tv series. including Pysch. which is okay with me, because i love Pysch. but i realized that i was called to be his companion for a reason.

He doesn't have the strongest testimony, he just thought that maybe a mission is what he's supposed to do. which is cool, cause i like to think i have a very strong testimony so i've been able to help him grow a little bit. But he is also very precise and loves to be on time. in fact, he HAS to be on time. Which is perfect, cause as you all know i struggle and am almost never on time haha. so he has really helped me get up and get going.

But anyway, the MTC is pretty fun and very busy. I have had some awesome teachers though that have explained our true purpose as missionaries and disciples of Christ. We are not here to learn how to covert people, get more Mormons, or baptize people. that is not our goal. Our goal is to invite people to come unto Jesus Christ. That is it. As long as we do all we can to invite the people to come unto Christ, our job is done. We simply just want to share how following Jesus Christ has changed our life and how following Jesus Christ can change everybody's life. Missionary work is amazing!
Ummmm yesterday i was assigned to be the district leader for the two weeks that we are here. I kinda didn't want to cause it is a lot more responsibility haha. the branch presidency gave me a folder thing and said "Read it. You'll do great" and that was it. Haha but i just have to pick up the mail for everyone and make sure everyone is respectful and on task. Which is luckily not too hard to do, because all of us are pretty obedient when we need to be.

I have seen Elder Cory Piniger and Elder David Williams but just for brief moments. I wish I could find Elder Chase Player, but alas, I have yet to see him. The food here is just like school lunch food. There's a lot of variety so I try to get some good stuff. I don't think my body has adjusted to the eating schedule that I am now on. My body is still used to Cafe Rio eating schedule!!! So that's a problem haha. Buuuut yeah.
The church is true. I love y'all. This is Christ's work. This is Christ's mission, not mine.

love, Elder Lambert
