Investigators, Sept. 30, 2013

Hey Mamma! 

Noelle. What a smarty pants. Getting straight A's and all that jazz. I think she should definitely go for the sterling scholar. She is smart and talented enough to do it. Is Noelle still taking piano from Angela Toone? Or did they move? And is Noelle still teaching piano? How is that going?

And that is sweet that your room is getting all fancy. The McCormicks know how to decorate, that's for sure.

Anywho, my week has been..... Fun. We had an excellent dinner with this member family the Cunninghams and with their non-member friend Renee. We talked about temples and how families can be together forever. I love the Plan of Salvation. It is so legit. The spirit testified so strongly and I love when members attend lessons and can add their testimonies. On Friday we had another awesome lesson with my FAVORITE investigators, Renee & Craig. They are progressing so greatly and they know it is true, they are just strongly to accept to change for the better. We had another awesome member family at this lesson, the Bowles family. Brother Bowles is such a smart and funny guy. He is a boss and his testimony was excellent about how he knew the Book of Mormon was true. 

We had a zone sleep over last night at the zone leaders house, which was pretty fun. But I am super tired and I didn't sleep too well. We are supposed to get transfer calls today, so I will find out later today if I am staying in Florence or if I am going to a new area. Wherever it may be, I know the Lord needs me there. I will go where he wants me to go.

I am SUPER excited for General Conference, probably more than I've ever been in my entire life. Being on a mish really helps you appreciate the words of the prophets more. These really are men that are a special witness of Jesus Christ. We can either watch it at the church, a member's house, or with investigators somewhere. I'm stoked! 

I'm loving it out here guys. Each day I learn something new about myself and about others. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I am so glad to be apart of this work.

Keep praying for missionary opportunities. Bare testimony frequently. Love the Lord and serve him the very best you can.

p.s. Mom, is there anyway you could send me 3 extra pairs of garments? I love the dri-lux ones and I'm a medium on the shirt and on the bottoms. And if possible, could you send any spiritual mission-appropriate CD's? I would LOVE the Lower Lights: Hymn Revival CD's. Those are fantastic. Or maybe just the best 2 years soundtrack or efy CDs. Anything! thank you!!
